Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using SCComp services, including our website, panel, VPS, bare metal, support, partner pages, and related infrastructure offerings.
Last updated: July 7, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and SCComp Infrastructure LLC (“SCComp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, using the customer panel, opening a ticket, or using any SCComp service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the service for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Services
SCComp may provide managed web hosting, VPS hosting, bare metal rentals, hardware sales, support, partner hosting pages, infrastructure consulting, and related services. Specific service details, prices, stock, availability, hardware models, included management, and billing terms are shown on the applicable order page, invoice, quote, ticket, or written agreement.
Service descriptions are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. We may change service packaging, pricing, stock, hardware, network design, and provisioning processes before accepting an order. Custom requests are not guaranteed until approved by SCComp.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account, contact, billing, technical, abuse, and IP justification information. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or service has been compromised.
4. Orders, provisioning, and availability
Orders may be subject to review, stock availability, fraud checks, abuse history, technical feasibility, payment confirmation, and network capacity. “In stock” does not guarantee immediate provisioning. We may reject, cancel, or request more information for any order before provisioning.
5. VPS and bare metal services
VPS services may run on Proxmox-backed infrastructure and may use OPNsense or similar routing and firewall systems. Bare metal services may use Dell PowerEdge hardware or comparable equipment. Unless a written managed-service agreement says otherwise, you are responsible for your operating system, applications, configurations, licenses, data, backups, and security inside your service.
For bare metal rentals, out-of-band management such as iDRAC access may be provided through controlled workflows, temporary access, VPN, or panel-integrated tools. We may limit or revoke management access to protect the management network, other customers, or SCComp systems.
6. Static IP addresses
Static IPv4 or IPv6 address requests require accurate technical justification. We may approve, reduce, deny, renumber, reclaim, or audit IP assignments based on availability, routing, abuse risk, registry requirements, or network policy. Additional IP pricing is monthly unless an invoice or written agreement says otherwise.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use SCComp services for:
- Spam, phishing, malware, botnets, credential theft, or deceptive activity.
- Unauthorized scanning, intrusion attempts, brute force attacks, DDoS activity, or traffic amplification.
- Hosting, distributing, or linking to unlawful content or content that violates another party’s rights.
- Child sexual abuse material, exploitation, or any content involving abuse of minors.
- Copyright infringement, trademark abuse, counterfeit goods, or piracy.
- Open proxies, open mail relays, abusive VPN endpoints, or intentionally evasive abuse infrastructure.
- Cryptomining or high-resource activity that harms platform stability unless expressly approved.
- Any activity that violates applicable law, sanctions, export controls, or network operator policy.
We may suspend or terminate services immediately for abuse, security risk, legal risk, emergency network protection, nonpayment, or violation of these Terms.
8. Support
Official support is handled through tickets or other approved SCComp channels. Discord or community spaces may be useful for general discussion, but they are not a substitute for tracked support tickets. We may require a ticket for account, billing, security, or service-impacting issues.
9. Billing, cancellations, and refunds
Fees, billing cycles, setup costs, IP costs, hardware costs, and managed service costs are shown at ordering or invoicing. Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are due in advance and custom work, setup, special-order hardware, IP allocations, and abuse-related work may be non-refundable. We may suspend or terminate services for unpaid invoices.
10. Hardware sales and third-party links
Hardware may be sold through eBay, direct sales, or other channels. Third-party sites, including eBay, Discord, partner sites, vendors, and payment providers, are controlled by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or security.
11. Partner pages
Partner pages may show a partner’s location, offerings, links, and service information. Partners are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their submitted content. We may edit, disable, or remove partner pages that are inaccurate, abusive, misleading, insecure, or inconsistent with SCComp policy.
12. Data and backups
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups unless a written service agreement expressly includes managed backups. We are not responsible for data loss caused by customer action, compromise, software failure, hardware failure, abuse response, suspension, or events outside our reasonable control.
13. No warranty
Services are provided “as is” and “as available” unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, compatibility with every workload, continued availability of any specific hardware, or suitability for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SCComp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits; loss of revenue; loss of data; business interruption; or costs of replacement services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to SCComp for the affected service during the one month before the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SCComp from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the services, your customers or users, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of another party’s rights.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by United States law and the state law applicable to SCComp Infrastructure LLC’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a written agreement states otherwise.
18. Contact
