SCComp platform update: new customer tools and the road ahead

SCComp is in active production hardening. Recent work unified customer and administrator navigation and made devices, orders, invoices, tickets, referrals, settings, and infrastructure tools easier to reach.

Eligible VPS plans now use Stripe Checkout and queued Proxmox provisioning with payment and guest-readiness gates. Browser console work improved input, paste, detach, reconnect, and authorization. Assigned bare-metal systems can provide protected browser-based iDRAC inventory, health, power, console, notes, and virtual media without publicly exposing management networking.

Account-bound affiliate codes now support first-payment discounts, redemption limits, self-referral prevention, usage tracking, collected-revenue commission for automatic checkout, and auditable payouts. Documentation is now searchable, filterable, sortable, individually addressable, comment-enabled, and managed with draft/publish controls.

Next steps are end-to-end VPS provisioning proof, approved repair of test systems from the obsolete-template period, and public IPv4/OPNsense automation only after guest provisioning is independently proven. Longer-term plans include deeper bare-metal ordering, reinstall and rescue workflows, billing reconciliation, monitoring, auditing, and continued interface consistency.

The platform remains deliberately honest about incomplete external dependencies. Engineering continues by inspecting live truth, backing up, validating, testing, and preserving authorization boundaries. Customers should report issues through Tickets with the affected order or device, exact time, and complete error.

SCComp Infrastructure LLC Moves Into a Buffalo Datacenter to Expand Hosting Capacity

SCComp Infrastructure LLC is excited to announce that we have officially moved our server equipment into a professional datacenter environment in Buffalo, New York. This marks a major step forward for our infrastructure, our customers, and the future of the hosting services we are building.

By colocating our equipment in a Buffalo datacenter operated by ColoCrossing, we are positioning SCComp Infrastructure LLC to deliver more reliable, scalable, and professional hosting solutions. This move gives us access to improved power availability, network connectivity, physical security, and the kind of datacenter environment needed to support serious business and infrastructure workloads.

Our current platform is focused on bare metal server hosting using enterprise-grade Dell PowerEdge C6400-series systems, including Dell PowerEdge C6420, C6520, C6525, and related server blade configurations. These systems are built for density, performance, and efficiency, making them a strong fit for customers who need dedicated hardware without the cost or complexity of owning and colocating equipment themselves.

With this move completed, SCComp Infrastructure LLC now has an abundance of available compute capacity ready to be deployed. We also have public IP address resources available, allowing us to support customers who need static IP addresses, dedicated network access, and room to grow.

Our bare metal hosting services are designed for users and businesses that need more control than traditional VPS hosting can provide. Whether customers are running virtualization platforms, game servers, development environments, storage services, business applications, or other demanding workloads, dedicated bare metal servers offer predictable performance and full control over the environment.

This datacenter deployment is only the beginning. SCComp Infrastructure LLC is continuing to build out its hosting platform, improve automation, expand available server configurations, and make it easier for customers to order and manage infrastructure directly through our website.

We are proud to take this next step and look forward to offering reliable, affordable, and flexible bare metal hosting backed by real enterprise hardware.

As we continue expanding, customers can expect more available configurations, additional networking options, and continued improvements to our hosting platform.

SCComp Infrastructure LLC is ready to grow, and our new datacenter presence gives us the foundation to do exactly that.
