VPS console, networking, and recovery

Console

Open Panel, Devices, select the VPS, and launch Console. Wait, click the viewer to focus, and use its paste control. Remove trailing newlines or hidden formatting from passwords. Password fields display no characters. If Backspace prints ^H, use Delete or viewer keyboard controls.

Sessions

Detach closes only the viewer. Relaunch from the device page for fresh authorization. Never bookmark or share a signed console URL.

Network

SCComp may map public IPv4 to a private guest address. Do not put the mapped public address inside the guest unless instructed. Verify interface, private address, prefix, gateway, DNS, and firewall; test gateway, Internet IP, then DNS.

Recovery

Check device and billing state, try SSH, inspect boot through console, and reboot only when graceful recovery is impossible. Record exact errors and times for Support. Console access does not replace backups.
